ACTIVIST ARTIST-looking for galleries looking for a artist not afraid to delve into the uncomfortable aspects of the human experience. I'm a photographer, multi-medium, multi-media installation artist. Psychological, physical, identity issues, bullying , inner-personal, society, environment and some politics are the all encompassing subjects on my pallet. My focus of late is on the darker side of humanity. With painted / altered photography, mixed media paintings, sculpture, poetry and music come together in a installation for which the viewer not only see' s the art exhibited but enters into and becomes part of the subject matter. My last exhibit July-August 2013 was an interpersonal , all encompassing installation. I allowed the viewer see my own vulnerability and desire to battle many issues we find hard to open ourselves up , letting others in. Fear of rejection that often and sadly happens, keeps doors shut and hinders growth from happening. "Life Sentence" my last exhibit focused on the empowerment of starting the conversation. I have become a much stronger person and artist having gone through Very tough times and I live with disabilities which I prefer to call X-tra Life Challenges. I want to be part of de-stigmatizing disabilities (X-tra Challenges), dis-spelling stereo-types, show hope, call out our society and politics and keep the environment in our wheel-house!
