I specialize in what I call "Slapstick Portraiture" - Before's and After's of people getting splashed with water, splatted with pies, slimed, etc.

I don't like talking too much about the "meaning" because I like this to be open to each viewer's interpretation (like all the best art is!), but you'll note my photos have a couple things (purposefully) in common: They have an interactive tone allowing the viewer to feel like they're the one messing up the subject whether because they're taking revenge on someone or having a food/water fight with them. They also capture the subject's personality - even when their face is partially obscured. I like that messing up my models both lowers their inhibitions and brings out their personalities more and at the same time the fact that their faces are partly covered up makes it more challenging to do so.

I should also note that since I encourage different interpretations, this also means that different people will like them for different reasons (even if they differ from my own). I do want to point out though, that I've made these to be accessible and enjoyable to all and prefer these not to placed in a different context that narrows them down to a certain audience.
